Originally released in 1988, ‘…Ish’ peaked at No.1 on the ARIA Charts for four weeks, and remained in the Top 50 for 46 weeks. ‘…Ish’ has gone 5x Platinum. At the 1989 ARA Awards, 1927 won Breakthrough Artist-Single for “That’s When I Think Of You,” and Breakthrough Artist-Album for ‘…Ish.’ Reflecting on the album, rock music historian Ian McFarlane describes ‘…Ish’ as, “brimful of stirring, stately pop rock anthems”
