“Suck It and See” is the band’s fourth studio album, and features a more polished and melodic sound compared to their previous albums. It includes popular tracks such as “Don’t Sit Down ‘Cause I’ve Moved Your Chair”, “The Hellcat Spangled Shalalala”, and “Black Treacle”. The album received positive reviews from critics and peaked at number one on the UK Albums Chart.

In terms of the album’s themes, frontman Alex Turner has stated that it was influenced by his experiences of growing up in Sheffield, England, and the idea of finding beauty in the mundane. The album’s title is a reference to a British idiom meaning “try it and see how it goes”, and is meant to convey a sense of experimentation and risk-taking.
