Dangerous is the eighth studio album by US singer Michael Jackson, released on November 26, 1991 by Epic Records.

The album marks a profound artistic change for Jackson who, with this record, abandons his longtime collaborator Quincy Jones, who until then had played the role of producer on the albums Off the Wall, Thriller and Bad , and relies on producers Bill Bottrell and Teddy Riley, the latter known as one of the creators of the new jack swing.

Thanks to this musical genre, which represented a complete novelty in Jackson’s repertoire, the artist will be able to modernize the sounds and melodies of his future albums.

The record has been a great commercial success all over the world and more than 45 million copies are certified worldwide, of which 8 million in the United States alone and is the best-selling new jack swing album of all time.

Michael Jackson’s ‘Dangerous’ is now available for the first time on coloured vinyl and mastered from high definition audio. ‘Dangerous’ further cemented Michael’s status as The King Of Pop thanks to iconic tracks like “Black Or White,” “Remember The Time,” “In The Closet,” “Who Is It,” “Will You Be There” and many more.
